Casting variations:

The initial metal baseplate read DG6-DG8 but was changed in 1985 to read DG6-8. The chassis was re-designed in 1988 to accommodate a plastic base. In 1989 the baseplate was changed to read DG6-8-33, a steering wheel was added that same year.

Soon after the introduction of this model the baseplate was changed from DG7-DG9 on base with DG13 on the front axle and DG14 on the rear axle to DG7-9-13-14 on the baseplate. The holes in seats were replaced with a smooth cushion in 1986, small ‘pips’ were added to the windscreen to further secure the roof. A textured centre on the roof was introduced in 1987.

In 1990 a new body casting was introduced showing a door profile, later in the same year the baseplate changed to read 7-9-13-14-37
